There is so much going on around us and with us, that I thought a newsletter would be a great way to invite you back to the salon. Each time we have had a Covid closure I took the opportunity to learn and grow. It has been a fascinating time of reading, training and reflecting. I am grateful for the time I have had off to do these things freely, but really do look forward to being back in the salon with you again.
I want to focus on you and your hair. My salon should be a place of rest, escape and renewing. I have been very busy and I am most excited about planning a new salon experience for you. The plan is still being worked on, but I am eager to see it come to fruition and sharing it with you all.
I am reopening on Monday, January 18, 2021. If you were pre-booked for that week and beyond, your schedule will remain the same. I will contact everyone who missed services during the closure by January 17th, to get you rescheduled. Your time is valuable, so I promise to be as efficient as possible.
I will continue to observe and practice Covid protocol. If you need to review the salon policy and how to slow the spread, please visit the Covid 19 section. When you return you will notice a few different things in the salon. I am only set up for one person at a time and no longer have extra seating. No additional guests will be permitted.
I have enjoyed redesigning my website and will re-introduce online booking very soon. Until then I have updated my service list and prices. This list is live and available here on my website now. As announced last quarter, after nearly a decade, I will be implementing a price increase. I invite you to get acquainted with the new list before your next appointment so that we can focus on you, your hair and your time.
I cannot wait to hear how your holidays went and what you may have planned for this new year. As always, thank you for being my salon family and giving me so much more than you take. Maya Angelou said it best, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Thank you for being a continued light in my life.
